I'll tell you right now, the workload will be tough. Not impossible to handle, but definitely more time consuming as opposed to if you took just bba, or just chem.

I have friends in the BBA/Math double degree program, they don't have as much free time as many others who goto wlu or waterloo.

I'm heading into DD. I always hear things about how its difficult and whatnot. What I see is 52 courses over 10 academic terms as opposed to 40 courses over 8 academic terms. This means you're overloading on two terms or taking 2 more courses via distance ed. Maybe I oversimplified it, but I don't see what's so hard about it. I'm WLU based, so I have an off-term 1st year. If I took something like 4 courses in that term, I could even be ahead non?

atfer 8 months of DD...last thing you will want is more school.....but like all DDs youll prolly take ECON 201 or something DE....after CS 134/Math 138/biz 121...you will want to just sleep

it is prolly the most demanding program at UW math....though Math/CA is close.....but its all about disclipne and liking it....i only knew ppl who dropped out of DD cuz they were either forced to, lack of disclipne to keep up with 5 tedious courses.....or they disliked biz or math...and choose one route or the other....

WLU based is better....you get a shot at the nicer bankish co-op jobs i would say...my UW friends have said the WLU DD have better co-op oppurtunities....

Yeah, that makes sense. DDs get the big courses from each degree as opposed to getting some electives to smooth out our schedules.

Well, I guess it depends what kind of job you're looking at. UW has more technical jobs right? And I believe their co-op system is more robust. It won't do you any good if you're looking for a math job and end up in marketing.

I'm actually in DD, going into 3rd year in the fall. I wouldn't say the program is too hard, you just really have to work hard. The classes at laurier are such a nice change after so much math at waterloo. I'd say this was the best program available if you really don't know what you wanna do and want to keep your options open, because these two degrees can lead to so many other things.

6 courses a term isn't so bad, just take it early because the later business courses (3rd and 4th year) are killer. Endless group projects, impossible math assignments....uuurrggg.....

Hm...I'd have to say I'm really happy to be in this program, it's such a great opportunity, and the Co-op is fantastic. The money you earn is enough for around 2 terms tuition!! Jobs are usually crap, but whatever, just find a way of getting through the day.

What else....hmm...well the people are pretty nice. I think the main thing is you really gotta find a group to do assignments with, because those damn things can't be completed alone. And don't lag behind, because there's like...3 midterms per course and it gets insane with like 2 tests and 2 assignments due every week.... :(

If anyway wants to buy used books, i have plenty to sell!!
