I'm trying to decide between the Kaplan and Princeton Review GMAT Prep Courses.

Has anyone taken these courses?

Also, has anyone taken these courses in the downtown Toronto are? I would appreciate any feedback relating to these courses.

Thanks

I suggest you purchase both ... they both have their advantages and points ... that's what I did for my LSAT's :) can't just rely fully on one book

He's talking about the prep courses.

Of all the collegues I met in my MBA program, I only knew 1 person that took a prep course. He took the Kaplan one. He said it didn't help him at all. It's subjective, I suppose.
Many of my classmates (me included) only studied from the official GMAT prep book, kaplan/princeton review books, and practice questions. The average prep time for us was around 2 weeks. (Yours truly needed 3 weeks cuz I'm slow...:D) It's not really difficult but tedious. Verbals was my Achilles' Heel.

Get the Official GMAT book (the one w/ all the Q's)
Get both review books and study your pants off.
Go to the forums here: http://www.testmagic.com/gmat/ and discuss (and download more sample questions).

Best of luck.

don't bother with courses unless you really need help after reading the books.

The whole Kaplan series is great. Their tests are generally harder than the real GMAT test so do not worry if you score low in them.

gmatclub (http://gmatclub.com) is another GREAT resource. They also have an excellent verbal program with 1000 SC, 1000 CR and 1000 RC questions. Their forums are really good and chock full of explanations for practically every question from any book.
