So where are you heading to this year and why? So to begin i'm going to guelph for public management cause the school has the best campus food in Canada. But really i'm just trying to live away from home + i'm in co-op

Lakehead, Windsor, Laurentian, UOIT (oshawa), Carlton, and Ottawa are missing :)

I'm also missing Nipissing University, OCAD, Royal Military College and Trent. But limited to 10 options if I added the other option i'd probably would of taken out Brock. But for the most part the ones which didn't make the list aren't particularily viewed as the more notable universities or they fill a niche.

King Street is good. Albeit a bit far than the other residences, but it's good. King is known (from what I've been told) as the party place, haha so that's good. I'm in Little House in a double.

Furthermore, do they say YUNI, or O-Nee. I've heard both when some people surprisingly said it in real life.

I wanted King Street but now I'm glad I got WCH since it's a lot closer to the business building. Less walking is good.

hehe fair enough, just listed a few i noticed missing. But I do think an 'other' category would be interesting to see how many people go to school away from central ontario :D

Lol, nope. I'm one of the very few Asians going to Laurier for something OTHER than Business/Eco/BBA etc. I'm going for Honours Arts. (History)
After that, I plan to get my Bachelors of Education and be a teacher. I was originally gonna go to the WLU at Brantford for the dual degree, but I opted for the main campus instead.

S'up man, going in to second year there. Feel free to ask any questions. O-Week kicks ass, don't miss a minute. You shouldn't have to pay for a meal in o-week, everyone's giving out something. What res you in? BTW, if you haven't already, sign up on Facebook.com, it's essential. Also, www.thecannon.ca for textbooks. There's a very tight knit community of asians on campus; it seems like there are a lot, but I come from no asian land, so compared to the t-dot, you'll be amazed. There's a great asian grocery store downtown, I go there for my pocky fix.

It depends on the room. What number is it? imho the cement ones are ten times better, because they're organized around alcoves. I just hope you didn't get stuck on the sixth floor, unless you want some exercise.
There isn't really an LCBO/ beer store near campus. The nearest beer store is on Edinburgh just south of the river (ironically, near my house, i don't drink) and I think the nearest LCBO is a ways down Gordon, near the hanlon expressway. Don't worry about it though, there'll be tons of people to tell you where to go for that stuff ;).
As far as south goes, Mountain is best, because it's by far closest to things, and there's a caf right there. Move in day's gonna be crazy for you though. My name's Denis Agar if you want to add me on Facebook.

I'm in Valley 135 <-- i'm hoping that doesnt mean first floor? For the LCBO/Beer store question i'm not actually much of a drinker but i figure i'll be some of the few first years that can legally buy. O is that package with the nalgene, map and other goodies worth paying $45 for?

All sections of south are split into three alcoves, so you would count as being in Valley 1, and on the third floor which is just about level with the massive hallway that connects the entire building.
The package is not worth it, imho. Maps are free, everywhere, nalgene you can get for around $16 (the printing rubs off pretty easily; might as well get a non-guelph one), and the other goodies, I think are bs. I don't remember exactly though.
EDIT: just checked, you're in a brick single:
