Best I've found is through expedia.ca roundtrip for just under $500 all in. I'm not sure if that's good or not... it's with "harmony airways"... haven't heard of it before, but if it gets me from A to B, I'll take it.
Can anyone help out and find something cheaper for August 30th or so to September 6th or so?

I'm going to make this short and sweet:
just under $500 all in is pretty decent round trip.
harmony is new from what i understand and i know 20 people who have flown on it since june 2006 (from t.o. > bc and bc > t.o) and all have had good experiences (to sum it up: it got them from point a to point b w/o problems)

Air Canada Tango is $482.66 with taxes in. That was the cheapest I found when I booked a flight for my aunt last month.

Harmony is Vancouver-based and privately owned by a Hong Kong millionaire. They only have four planes covering all routes.

I've travelled from/to Toronto-Hawaii with Harmony Airways. My very first trip was with Air Canada from Montreal to Vancouver. It was the most disappointing trip, since AC had lost my luggages. But from Vancouver to Honolulu, it was with Harmony Airways. That was back in 2004, and they were new on the market. After the first trip with them, I was sold. I never changed air carrier since then. I wish they would provide Toronto/Montreal flights. :)
You can book your flights from their website btw.

We decided on August 31 - Sept. 7 to Vancouver. I looked up the prices for Harmony and they seem so expensive. The prices for Air Canada Tango were $239 per person. If Harmony is good, then would someone suggust a promotional code to make it cheaper or have different prices with them?

LOL. I doubt they only have 4 planes. They do Vancouver/Honolulu 5 days a week, with 2 different departure times/day. That's something I'm going to have to ask to the flight attendants on my trip back to Hawaii in a couple of weeks.

You'll be travelling during Labour Day, this explains why it's so expensive. AC Tango are the 100 passengers' planes if I'm not mistaken (or is it less? I forget). They are very small and uncomfortable whilst Harmony is offering the comfort of roomie 747's and 757's.

It's somewhere around there.

It's because they cycle the planes throughout the system. Once a plane finishes YVR/HNL, it is likely YVR/LAS or YVR/YYZ is next on its sched.

Harmony has a 747? AC uses a wide variety of aircraft on the YVR/YYZ route. I much rather would fly on a 763/767/343/333 than an old 757. Tango is no longer an airline, but a fare class.

Directly from their website: With four modern B757-200 aircraft... (http://www.harmonyairways.com/travel_information/flight_schedules.php)

I always fly harmony. Less of a line up checking in, you can pick your seat online, you get meals, free headphones you can take home, free wine with dinner and movies.
Oh yeah, you also get a free plastic plane that is a salt and pepper shaker hehehehe.

$239? that's either 1 way or before taxes which with taxes will run you up to more then harmony. my gf's dad is a travel agent, harmony is the cheapest flights you can get to and from vancouver including taxes roundtrip.

I was looking for a ticket during the Labour Day weekend and I found one for $519 tax included. It's with Harmony Airways, btw. Goodluck! :)

That Harmony flight is now $530... You can still get the same dates to Seattle for $470, but you have the added hassle and costs of going to Vancouver...
You should always book asap if you know you're going to be travelling, tickets go up as flights get sold out..

I was quoting the guy before a tango trip that cost $239. Not referring to Harmony.
I booked a flight to Van Thanksgiving weekend. $491 tax included round trip.
Don't think expedia has the cheapest prices..check the harmony website..sometimes they are cheaper then expedia.
