Does anyone know why this always happens?

I've never booked a flight on Expedia but I research flight prices and will select a flight and then on a later page it will say "Sorry! The price has been changed..." Why don't they just put up the price that the flight actually is on the main page?

prices change quickly and get booked quickly. Expedia is a very popular site.

Ive snagged many deals through there and have yet to be dissappointed.

It's because the old price/inventory is still cached on their system and hasn't been updated with the latest feed from the airline's CRS. Yes, it's very annoying.... although sometimes the price is better.

I think it is a rip-off. I tried 3 times in one day to book something and everytime it increased the price by $60-$100. I even refreshed the booked price through the whole process but when you have almost completed the transaction and spend quite a lot of time at booking it increases the price.

How can you get a lower price???????????????//>:(
