Decided last minute to go camping. Called all of the provincial parks, no space. Have called Albion Hills and Indian Line they have some space but has anyone ever been there or have a gem thats never busy but nice - I am taking the wife and three girls (5, 5, 6)

I live in ajax, but am open to anything 1-2 hours away

when r u going? If it's this long wknd, you can almost forget about it since camping spots are booked months in advance. You may want to check the ontarioparks website for availability, though!

Indian line isn't very nice, but it's near Wild Water Kingdom. Try conservation areas, they don't fill up as quick. I like Valens (http://www.conservationhamilton.ca/parks/visit/valens.asp) but it's a little far from Ajax.

Try Earl Rowe PP. It is in Alliston. We went therea couple weeknds ago nad hte kids (8,5 and 4) had a ball. Campsite 250 is perfect for kids. Bathrooms acroos hte "road" and right next to a park playground!!
