Hey guys,

First timer going to Wasaga. Have around 10 - 16 friends tagging along as well. Have NOOO clue which is the best and worst places to shelter the night at. Can anyone give me any pointers on which place is the best to select? We are also wanting a place that dosent cost alot =/ and is down by the beach (so we dont have to travel far to go to the beach).

Thanks for your help guys

Ive never stayed at any of the hotels / motels on the beach but basically wasagas main end is beach 1. the farther along you go down the beach the cheaper the hotels will become.

Google wasaga beach motels or hotels and your sure to find some. Call a few, if your staying with 10-16 people it might be difficult geting something for the long weekend. The price and beach location should give you a good estimate as to the quality and location of the motels.

Most if not all Motels are beach side or across the street from the beach. The question is which beach. Beach 1 is ideal, 2 and 3 are okay, anything further is a longer walk to the main end. The other beaches (3+) are not bad or anything but they tend to have either more locals or more families that dont want the crowd of the main end.

anyone know of any good sites for renting cottages (a good option for more people)?

Alright so I booked this two-story loft hotel down by beaches 3 - 4. I just hope the beach is nice there as well and isn't AS crowded as Beach 1 is, because I've heard stories that you could hardly move there! =/

Btw, is there an LCBO down by wasaga beach? And are you allowed to bring it back to hotel rooms?

There is an LCBO on the strip by the main beach. The lcbo website has the address.
