As we all knwo using a splitter is wrong in the eyes or Rogers. I jsut want to know If I have a digital Cable box and I hook it up to 1 tv. Can I still use regular cable on the other tv?

So it would be like splitter=1. Digital Cable 2. Straight to other tv

Does that work, or I need anotehr digital box?

My wife picked up a digital cable box from a garage sale (make sure it is not stolen or have a bad credit history, Call your providor and give them the serial # to check first).

Shaw charges only $1.99 for their digital subscrition. this is on top of our regular cable charges for however many channels you want.

Having problems now so its annoying. If I join the VIP program they wil give me a free sd box for 7.99 a month which is basically for the extra outlet. But what happends if I buy one from FS? Will I have to pay anymore?

a Splitter for the right purpose is NOT bad in the eyes of Rogers..

Oh, and Digital Cable is a service offered Ontop of existing analog television transmisisons, meaning the signal going into your outlets is both analog AND digital, if you connect it directly to your TV set only, with no extra equiptment, your getting analog channels, 2-71, but if you connect it to a STB, you get (all the analog channels in hte 800 range depending on your model STB as well as) the digital channel offerings such as rogers on demand, time shifting, pay perview, etc..
