Suggestions for MP3 player with Line-in Recording

I need to find a mp3 player with line-in recording, probably something 5GB+
with the ability to display chinese characters.

The reason I need line-in recording is because i have hundreds of old cassette style tapes that I want to convert.


I had a iriver IFP-390 and it had line-in recording but it had only 512MB which is too small.

Any Good recommandations? I read that the H10 has line-in but needs a dock. Are there any that comes with a line-in port built-in?

Since you have a computer, why not just use the Line In on your sound card?

Your hard drive too small?

the thing is, its for my grandma. she doesnt have a computer and doesnt know how to use one either. but i guess thats the only option seeing there are no harddrive players with line-in recording...

yeah my iriver ifp-790 (256 MB) has line in....but then ur looking for a huge size of storage...and i dont think iriver can have chinese characters..not sure

I'm not sure about the chinese characters, but it does support chinese as a language. I dont have any songs with chinese characters to test it either. The one i have is 20 gigs.

I also have the 20 Gig unit, it has inline recording and TV out so you can watch your videos.

Chinese is supported on this unit.
