I usually plug a usb keyboard to my laptop, but today when i was using the laptop keyboard it gave me problems.

Heres how it looks when i typle letters with it:
abcd3efgh8ijklm9on9o0p1q4rst7uv2wxyz

and numbers
1q2w3e4r567u8i9o0p

arrow keys are also messed up and probably a bunch of other keys as well.

I tried restarting the computer a few times, system restore, spybot and adaware but still no luck. BTW the laptop is a compaq v2310, waranty expires in a few weeks  Anyone know whats wrong with it?

It's under warranty, contact Compaq. Even if they can't solve the problem, at the very least you'll have a record of the problem and may get an RMA or something.

Update...called HP tech support and they told me to format my computer. Aftering backing my files up and formatting it still doesnt work, must be a hardware problem then. I hope they can't fix it and they give me a new and better laptop :D
