Looking at a 6mega pixel slim design Samsung digital camera at Best Buy for $250. Just wondering what Samsung camera quality is like?

They're okay. I've had one, before I returned it for a sony.

I'd suggest that you go with a Canon camera though. It's not all about the megapixels.

I hate the proprietary memory card for Samsung cameras.
