you often see S I C K deals online that are only offered to US residents?
Does anyone know if there's a way to get their stuff? I don't have any RELIABLE friends or relatives who live in the States.

They are 10 times the population and have economies of scale. Canadian's keep forgeting how small a country we really are.

That's when I know how Quebecers feel when it comes to contest... Suckers!

And do you know what else really grinds my gear? People who farts inside teh elevator. Even though it is beyond their control, it still annoys the hell out of me. More so than deals offer only to the states.
But poor Quebec, they have the worse deal of all.

No, I never forget. The lack of population is exactly the reason why Canada Post and public transit equals real nightmare.
And..I don't think anyone has answered my 2nd question yet.

I just went through a similar problem where there were products I wanted that could only be purchased in the US and there were no other online stores/websites that shipped that product to Canada.

Didn't someone post about that website service.
It allowed us to buy something from the USA. They should buy it and send it to them, then send it to us and we would avoid fees.
I think it's closed now, but can someone refresh my memory about it?

Damn, who stole my idea
I seriously thought about this before, and thought it'd be feasible. The item could either be picked up or mailed to you and the person who runs the business either uses his house or rent a huge storage for all the items.

Pissed?
I live in Quebec.... so many deals in this forum don't apply in Quebec.
President Choice 4% online banking, Dairy queen 2 for 1 blizzard coupon, whatever Canadian Superstores are (probably Loblaws to us), etc...
Its even more frustrating when you think about it since We ARE still in the same country! We just don't get those deals for some reason...

Yah, for some reason. Some Quebec seperaters are ruining it? Different provincial laws apply in Quebec too, I wonder why?

quebec should start their fight for freedom. Probably harper who is a staunch supporter of bush who in turn is a staunch supporter of freedom ;) will liberate quebec. And quebec will have the pleasure of becoming the first poor country in NA. Canada and USA will soon follow :D

Nope, doesn't bother us at all ... We buy the stuff over the web and get it shipped to Blaine which is a 1.5hr round trip from my house (including the border). I go 6 to 10 times a year and pick up all the great US bargains that we want.
Where there is a will, there is a way.

Is Blaine, WA or Point Roberts, WA quicker? I assume you go on the highway that passes thru Annacis Island.
Which company do you use from Blaine, WA anyways? I only know TLC from Point Roberts.
