View Full Version : Did I get scammed?

I ordered something on ebay, and the seller said he was out of stock. He tells me he will ship it once he gets it, and promises wednesday.
Wednesday comes, i check the mail, i have no package.
I email him on friday to see what's going on. He replies that he had a minor delay, and promises for next wednesday.
The wednesday just passed, and no package. I emailed him on friday again, waiting for an reply. I checked ebay, and notices that it says hes no longer registered.
I then call on friday as well, and got the answering machine. He has a local store in vancouver. I paid via EMT

So far, the process has been on going for three weeks, and still going.

The item is a cell phone, about $500

Any comments would be apprichated.


Also, He has a seperate web site for his store. It looks active, and it looks as if gets updated. According to his web site, he also activated Rogers Wireless cell phones. I have is vancouver store address. Maybe someone can swing by for me to see if the store is closed? :confused:

hes no longer registered usually is bad news, and you used emt... your dead, at least with cc you can call in and cancel

I pretty sure that they are legit (not 100% sure)....i have a feeling that you didn't get scam...just my instinct though

EMT are the worst... But goodluck trying to get your product if not your money back at least...

It's tuesday today. Still no reply.

What can i do? Pretty much nothing? I have their address, and someone on the forums told me their store still open for business.

So i ended up calling rick and he promised to have it shipped today. He told me the store was quite busy and didin't get around to my emails. He also told me the phone will be shipped out today. Ill keep you guys updated.
