View Full Version : Why the Existence of Israel is good for the Arab World

FACT #1: Without Israel, the Arab terrorists would be waging war amongst themselves. Don't believe me? Just study some Arab history prior to May 14, 1948, the existence of the state of Israel.

.........

.........
.........

Along comes Israel. Israel acts like a sheppard who tends to his flock of sheep. Now imagine that instead of sheep in an open field, they're cockroaches trapped in a glass jar. And instead of munching on grass, they're instinct is to destroy each other. Essentially, Israel keeps the Arabs at bay and prevents them from fighting each other. Now that Israel is in the Middle-east equation, it serves the Arabs a distraction from their common goal: to wipe each other. Instead of war, it's now "holy war".

In this example, you can replace sheep with: Hezbollah, Hamas, or any other Arab Muslim terrorist organization bent towards the destruction of Israel.

FACT #2: Israel brings democracy and knowledge to the Middle East and thus sets a good example for many young Arab minds who otherwise would be preoccupied with building home-made bombs instead of gaining an education. Don't believe me? Last time I checked, there were 5 or.....maybe 6 (counting TerrArafat as a co-recipient) Nobel laureate recipients who were of Arab origin. How many Jewish recipients? 120-130+.... and counting. How many books are published in the Arab world annually? Likewise, how many in Israel? How many research papers come out of the Arab countries? ....you get my point.

Before Arab terrorist supporters make any illogical, unfounded statements please read my post thoroughly a couple of times.

his reasoning is stupid. You can also reason it the other way. If muslims and jews were not fighting with each other, then christians might be fighting with them to get back the land that is holy to them. ;) Afterall it is the christians who wanted end of jews for almost 1950 years !!

He is just trying to kindle some problems. Will report :|

Isn't this same like saying Holocaust was good for Jewish people since they at the end had reason to invade Palestine?

Lame attempt to sugarcoat Israeli invasion that resulted in 600 innocent lives being lost and counting.

Yet another one

The Aryans, according to Hitler, were once rulers of the earth, the highest race of mankind, endowed with the highest degree of spiritual qualities and the only ones capable of producing a higher civilization

The logic of the OP's arguments is, contentious, to say the least.

Using total nobel laureates per capita to measure a cultural group's intelligence is biased. It is equivalent to saying I.Q. is a true measure of intelligence. The fact is a Western organization isn't going to award many Nobel prizes to Africans and Arabs because they don't have a lot of exposure to those groups. The only Laureates from those places are the ones who have become (in)famous to Westerners, like Yasser Arafat. A lot of African tribesmen would score below 100 on an IQ Test, not because of a lack of Raw intelligence, but because they dont have the social context inherent in such a test.

Secondly, the "Israel unites the Arabs" argument is crap. If we extend the logic a bit further, imagine that aliens attack the Earth and humanity's fate hangs in the balance. It would certainly unite all of mankind, but I still wouldn't want it to happen.

"There's a little cockroach that has crawled into every nation and they have been kicked out everywhere. Who am I talking about? The Jew. The Jew hates you all," said Shawn Stewart, a neo-Nazi from Montana.

"When we have settled the land, all the Arabs will be able to do about it will be to scurry around like drugged cockroaches in a bottle." — Raphael Eitan, chief of staff of the Israeli Defense Forces, New York Times, April 14, 1983.

How is it possible that media messages can convince people to commit atrocities, in some cases against their neighbors? What are the messages that were powerful enough to incite the genocide of Tutsis in Rwanda, the Holocaust, and the widespread murder, rape and torture of Muslims, Croatians, and Albanians in the Balkan conflict? What follows is an analysis of seven messages that consistently appear in the fiercest and most thorough campaigns of hate propaganda. These messages are:

1. The enemy is qualitatively different than us.

2. The enemy represents some great evil. They are demonic, fascist, fundamentalist, etc. The evilness of the enemy is eternal. They have always been evil and they will always be evil.

3. The enemy has harmed us in the past with impunity.

4. The enemy has plans to harm us again in the future.

5. Unlike the enemy, we are noble and deserving of the good lives that the enemy would deny to us

6. The enemy is united so we must also be. Those of us who undermine our unity are traitors or agents of the enemy.

7. This is the final battle. If we win we will move on to a bright future free from the threat that the enemy poses.
