Had to come into the office today to finish some work and saw the rally from my window so decided to go down and take some pics. This is at Dundas and University.

These photos were taken with my cell so quality ain't great.

It is not just about government workers - it is about public opinion and getting on the News

So every political rally has to be conducted as a carbon copy of the July 1 Canada Day parade?

No. These circumstances are different in my view.

To show Canadian pride and to publicly say "thank you" to a country which has just evacuated their mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, and neighbors from a war zone would be greatly appreciated. I'm extremely disappointed at the lack of gratitude displayed and the disrespect shown to Prime Minister Harper and the Canadian Government for all of their efforts in ensuring evacuees were brought back to Canada safely. I view their actions as a stab in the Canadian back, not to mention that this effort probably cost the people of this country millions of dollars. I can't believe the disrespect.
