Why is it that whenever we hang any of the phones up, a few seconds later, the light (The one that tells you the line is in use) blinks on for a second and then back off? I'm just curius as this has been happening for quite a while.

Doesn't happen with my phone, but maybe it's because it's trying to disconnect the line and it's not instant.

But the light on the other phones go off before blinking.

It means that someone has tapped your phone line. You doing something illegal?
