Question about - GST - Credits [Archive]

Hi I got a letter saying

We have determined that you are not entitled to receive the

GST/HSTC for July 2006 to April 2007 because your family net

income exceeds $41,989.

But they deposited $281 in my account this month ??? used to be $36
but after getting the letter I thought I wont be getting any thing from now buty why did they deposit $281 :lol: ???

is this happened to any body here??? Should I call them and ask ??

I think you should definately ask. I think the max GST Credit is $88, so maybe it was for something else or they just really like you.

Thanks I just cheked it is the previous dues from 2003 & 2004 ( I dont know how they calculated the previous duew now :) ) they paid now :lol: it is nice to get like that surprise money ...... :lol:
