few questions,
I need a laptop for my dad,
his current computer using a desktop case is hot and noisy.
is this a good buy?
Should I add the 3 year support? (or should dell computer be ok w/o it?)
how's the battery life of this comp?

is this deal, byitself a good deal? Anyone have any comments about the weight, battery life or general feel of it?

It is a really nice notebook - very portable. Same class as a T-series Thinkpad IMO.

I don't think the Inspiron can rival the T-series in terms of build quality... I'd think it's more like R-series... not saying Inspirons are bad... they are great entry level laptops for sure...
