Anyone has experience buying desktop from Tigerdirect.ca?
Is there a UPS COD fee when you receive the desktop? I read these from tigerdirect.ca website:"TigerDirect.ca operates a state-of-the-art warehouse center in Naperville, Illinois. In addition, we have a network of suppliers worldwide which can drop ship special items to you directly."
If the product is shipped from the states, there will be UPS COD fee, am I correct?

Never use UPS when buying from the States as you will pay UPS brokerage fees...always opt for USPS.

NO FEE last time I got it. It's probably already paid for by Tigerdirect.

I have had several deliveries from Tiger Direct, and never any delivery COD fees.
It would appear they have a means of including customs clearance as part of their delivery from the US, when purchased through Tiger Direct in Canada. That may explain why their shipping charges seem a little on the higher side.

All prices in Canadian dollars. No additional duties or fees.
They ship via UPS Worldship, so no brokerage fees apply. One of my friends did get hit paying fees during their free shipping promo last summer. I told him to call TD asap and ask for a refund. Someone at the TD warehouse had obviously goofed.

Good display of thread necromancy.
Learn what COD is.
Learn what brokerage fees and duties are.
Use the proper terms when dealing with each, as they are completely separate reasons for UPS to collect money from you.
