BEP claims that Fergie's album was just a side project. Everyone in the group took part in its production.

I heard the song on the radio early morning a couple weeks ago. I thought it was Missy Elliot, or some wannabe at first. Then I heard the line where she says "I'm Fergie-Ferg"... I don't mind the song at all.

It's one of those songs that sound annoying at first, and grow on you. Or then again, maybe it'll stay annoying for some people. I know I still can't stand hearing Shakira's "My Hips Don't Lie."
