First I wanna know, is it true that for overdraft protection from TD there is no charge of 2$ per month like before. The first time when my financial advisor offerd me overdraft protection I refused to take it, but after a few months she said that I don't have to pay this 2$ a month anymore, only if I use it there is interest charge.
My second Q is: How can I check what is rate of my line in credit.

TD now has two options for OD, the $2/month, or the pay as you go, which is quite expensive, $5 per use.

Your rate for the LOC will be on your monthly statement. Or just call them.

Yes, the advisor mention something for 5$ per use(but I didn't find any information about that option on www.tdcanadatrust.ca),which is better if you don't use the overdraft more then 5 times per year I guess. Otherwise if you pay 2$ every month even if you don't touch the money they still charge you 24$ per year. :!:

It is possible that TD offers a premium banking package that includes OD protection for free (but the package probably costs more than $24 year.) Otherwise, $2/mo seems to be about the industry standard.

My RCS package at Royal Bank includes free OD as well as some other goodies that make it worth the $10.50/mo I pay for it.
