Well then, since you have GOOD CREDIT, you could get the Capital one 7% annual interest rate card with NO ANNUAL FEE.

I have the CC mentioned above in the OP.
The card is great for people who for whatever reason screwed up in the past and have messed up credit.
This is actually a decent deal for anyone that needs to rebuild their credit. It is far FAR easier to get this card than to get a secured CC through a Canadian bank.

yes, and capital one does not ask for a silly deposit of 1:1. maximum deposit is $200. a normal bank will always ask for a 1:1 balance to limit ratio, sometimes up to 2:1.

Try CIBC Dividend card with a $500 limit, worked for me, I've got no credit history here (which is the same as a bad history in everyone's eyes).
I should add you can also get prepaid mastercards from www.mycard.ca and www.moneymart.ca - both have fees for every time you take a breath.
Finally you can get prepaid gift visa cards from Vancity and Citizens Bank, these are cheap and would be good for ordering online, but they won't help your credit rating.
