So bet you never thought you'd see this happen. I hope it doesn't look like what I expect or else that won't be very interesting...

Just to keep everyone curious I'm hiding the address to this trailer here (http://www.transformersmovie.com/)

Should I drop more hints or put a more explanatory title?

My bad this is a repost, however unlike the other threads I am providing the link to the announcement trailer. http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=178620

EDIT:
Found this video on youtube. There are a few scenes of the movie pre-vis transformers doing their thing mixed with other content from elsewhere. It's all white background character model action but at least you get to see how some of them look all filled in with colour. Even a jumbo jet transforming. Keep in mind the video is low quality, I'm trying to find some better ones. The good stuff start at 1:47 into the clip.

I must say they should put a scene like this in the movie, that will really make people respect machines a little more

How can you be disappointed over that? That was just a teaser, not a real trailer.

i agree. i mean obviously teasers arent supposed to be full blown trailers, but that teaser didnt even make sense. are we supposed to assume that transformers are from mars now or something? im pretty sure none of that is even going to be in the actual movie anyway so it was completely pointless.

I meant I was dissapointed in how I think the robots are going to look. I didn't see much but it looked like they're going to have just larger versions of that "Johnny 5" movie. Remember the robot that rode around on tracks like tank treads. He had these big flaps to cover his "eyes" and 3 fingers per hand. He had this grapling hook and a parachute or glider that would conseal into some compartment on his back. A major point of that character was that he was "ALIVE". He used to read entire phonebooks in a second. Late 80s movie.

It seemed as if this was the type of live action they were going for, that or men in suits like godzilla. I didn't see any CG so that's what I thought at first. Also these robots are supposed to be huge according to comics and the old cartoon so I didn't think they'd be able to pull off that many giants roaming around anywhere.

Updated the first post with a video I found showing the actual robots doing their thing.

I can't tell from the video, but isn't that how they made Ratchet as a toy? (Like Johnny 5) Speaking of Ratchet, that is who was going to be the fire truck, but they changed it back to an ambulance like the original. It sounds like he's going to be about the only character who isn't completely butchered. >:(
