Are there any laptops for ~$1k that has a GPU capable of playing CS:Source at 30fps at the native LCD resolution?

I haven't looked for one - but you can look at DELL XPS systems - those suppose to be desktop replacments. Ya wait a sale and they will be under 1g

Well i don't know about 30fps, but i picked up one like 2 months ago for $955 CA (taxes inc)

Staples was clearing out some Acers - Centrino's with x700 grapics for that price. But it'll vary by store...

I got my one from CDI Computers markham, and this one is HP.
Laptop is fine but costumer service sucks, how ever after calling and swering at them isue i had was solwed.

Some of the New Inspiron Dell's have Radeon x1300's on them...
