I'm looking for a GPS receiver, preferably bluetooth, software is not important (although I wouldn't mind a bundle)! Am I doomed to resort to ebay for a decent deal? Used does not matter...

Get a GlobalSat BT338. I just finished doing 24+ hours of research to make my buy. Its the best out of the reliably GPSr. Its got SiRF Star 3, so its accurate to within 3 meters. I bought mine from someone on RFD, however it can be bough from GPS Central for $150.

Is any company making GPS receivers that is masked in a watch or jewlery, like an earing or a bracelet.
I'm sure parents would love to have the option to have these implanted in their children.

 The only problem is the antenna and battery. The smallest possible is currently 1"x1"x0.5" cube. Its getting there. Have you been watching SpyKids or something?

Oh I didn't even consider the battery, good point.
I guess that brings me back to the watch, or Jewlery question. Does such a product exist and is it reasonably priced?

Well, what you're talking about is really a GPS tracker.
That's different, like the onStar where the GPS unit pinpoints the vehicles location and then there is some kind of signal transmitting the location data.
Current GPS units available only receive the signal to determine location, that's all.
However, there is a 'watch' types made by Garmin called Forerunner.
Still very bulky.
Price range is $175 - $299
Runners usually use this to determine distance and speed.
Hope this helps.
