Wake-on-LAN.. how can I get this going?

Can anyone give me any tips on Wake-on-LAN?

It'd be neat to have my computer wake up remotely when another PC needs something from it.

Then have it Suspend later on.

isn't this activated in the bios?

Wake on lan is activated via your BIOS.

it can be good, and bad.

We had a computer that came into to work, that the NIC was toast, and that setting kept turning the computer off, whenever it lost the internet connection.
