Noob question about wifi

does this product allow use of wifi signals in hot spots free of charge?

I am looking for something to use basic email/ msn in hot spots and just pay regular phone service plans fees

What is it that I should be looking for (specs)

well unless you pay for some form of plan, wifi price is at the mercy of whoever in the area is providing it. some places like coffee shops and such are free. others will definitely charge. so its not really device dependent.

I am in a regular rogers cellphone plan that I want to keep as is, without any data package

Is it possible to get a phone w/ pda and wifi, if so, whats a good one?

im picking up a e61 in a couple of weeks. you can access an unsecured wifi signal, grab a free signal from some places that offer it, or pay a fee at other places (thats still cheaper than rogers data plans most of the time). i just wish it had a touch screen. i dont need a camara on a cell phone. i would recommend getting it.
