Sony W5 Problem with Manual Mode

My Sony W5 which is just under a year old is freezing when I go into manual mode. After a while the screen turns green and I can't turn it off or exit the mode. I tried to do a warrenty repair but I can't find my original sales copy and they will not fix it without it. I am waiting on an invoice from the place I bought it, hopefully they will send me one.

Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.

i have the same problem with my sony f88, not sure whats up but i rarely use manual mode anyway

Sony won't do a repair without a receipt ? I guess you tried right ?

Did you buy it using a Credit card or something? Maybe a statement would be good enough.


Well, for future, always make copies or scan your receipts. Just for warranty.
