JVC DR-MV1S DVD/VCR recorder Firmware flash HELP!!

I have JVC DR-MV1S home theater DVD/VCR recorder, which has a known problem. Whenever I turn it on, it will just flash 'Loading' on the screen forever, and will never load. It is a known problem, and JVC was flashing firmware on this unit for people whose recorders are still under warranty (measly 1 year). Mine was just over a year old when this happened, so no warranty...

Can anyone flash the firmware on this writer for me? Or sell me the DVD disc with firmware (apparently, this is all I need).
