my powerbook everyonce in a while says "pardon me?' in a female voice. Anyone know if this is a virus or what?

quick fix, turn off sound and you won't hear it again, if all else fails, do a virus scan on your system

Try to turn off voice over utility.

it's not a virus, it is a pop up ad. That pop-up ad sounds a lot more polite than "Helloooooooooooooooooooo!". :|
