Hey there, I recently put together a computer with the amd 64 3800+ AM2 cpu, Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe mobo, Kingston 1GB DDR2-533, Geforce 7800 GTX Extreme PCI-E, and 36GB raptor.

When I turn it on I get 1 long beep, and 2 short beeps immediately following, and it keeps repeating that pattern.

After researching, I found it, it means a video card error or something to do with the video card or motherboard. I have exchanged motherboards and tried 2 so it can't be the motherboard, and I have tried 2 different video cards so.. I am not sure what else to try.

If anyone has any suggestions please pm me!!!!!!!

take it to a store, give them everything, say fix this **** for 30 bucks.

I know DIY is fun, but dont stress over this, let someone else do it.

This might help. It could be a RAM compatibility problem. What kind of RAM do you have?

Well, it's a process of elimination. Next up is to check the RAM and then the CPU :)

i'm going to guess cpu problem (check for bent pins) then ram.
