Folks has anyone tried to open a P.O. box in the States (just some small towns right across the borders, doesn't have to go very far in) to buy stuff from eBay and/or get a lot of freebies that are only available to U.S. addresses ?

I understand there are a lot of times items won't be shipped to P.O. boxes but there are a lot of times they will and I would certainly like to take advantage of the strong Canadian dollars to get some more stuff from down south.

Obviously, i'm not going to buy things everyday but to accumulate some stuff in there from time to time and a nice drive down there to pick things up would be OK with me.

Thoughts folks ? Any pros/cons for this ? Do you have to be a U.S. resident to open a P.O. boxes down there ?
