Doesn't make much difference. My local bank has "full service" hours of 10:30 to 3:30. I really need to open an account with HSBC (for U.S. dollars but I work every day during the week from 9-5.

A. Most banks are 'open' 24/7 with ABM/Phone/Internet availability.
B. Bank BRANCHES are closed July 3.

I never really use a teller anyways, I am a self serve kinda person. I just wish you could get bank drafts from the machines.
