Hello,

I never PM before in futureshop. So I read the RFD guide to PMing found at http://www.redflagdeals.com/deals/main.php/articles/pricematching3/

I wanted to buy a SamDisk 2gb Memory Pro Duo. Futureshop had it at 129.99. CanadaComputers had it for 109.99 and Cty.ca had it for 93 dollars. Result of my first attempt in pming failed. They totally denied saying it was OEM stuff, warehouse stores, etc ... Needless to say, I didn't buy it in the end. I'm just planning to go to cty and buy it there personally.

Did I do something wrong?

I'm sure you will get a lot of people bitching in here about FS and PMing, but here is what I know.

Most FS's will not pricematch places like CanadaComputers, cty, etc because many of the items are OEM, generally meaning they don't carry the same warranty as a non-OEM product, therefore making the FS product worth more.

Just go buy it at CTY, honestly, is it really worth saving the $3.70?

Some people are so cheap here.....
