can you apply the coupon to the actual purcse you're makign or is it for a future purchase? do you happen to have a scan of it? i need some brakes (which also happen to be on sale this week) and rotors for my car (which will be about $120 total before this coupon if it's okay to use on sale items)
that'd be great if i could get the 25% off brake pads (44.99 after discount) plus $10 off $50 or more. (+$5 filler means $5 off the brakes)

You will need to purchase something now. At the cashier, if they don't give you the "Celebrate Canada Save $10 card", ask for one. They started to gave out these cards (to customer with purchases) since Saturday therefore it is possible your cashier or store is run out. The discount card is for future purchases of $50 or more between June 28 - July 12. You can use up to 2 cards per transaction.

perfect, thanks, i'll go buy something worth like $1 and ask for one, or scour the ground ouside the doors :P
And since i can use 2 at a time i won't need any fillers (because each of the 3 things i need to buy are ~$40 = $120 minus 2 cards :D)
do you have a scan of the card? Does it say anything about "reg priced items only"?

There were no advertisements of these card give-aways in-store I am aware of therefore I was surprised to receive one on my $70 purchase on Saturday. I noted not everybody were getting one therefore I thought I must have met a minimum purchase. I had to make another purchase on Sunday. This time at another location. I wasn't given one therefore I asked. The cashier didn't have any left therefore had to picked one up from another cashier. I asked if there is any minimum purchases to receive one, and the answer was "no".

Definately no minimum purchase....I bought something for $4 on the weekend and received the card.
Do you think I could pay with Canadian Tire money and still get the discount? I have a lot of paint to buy in the next few weeks and was planning on using GCs and CT$....the discounts would be a huge bonus!!!

Thanks OP - got two cards just now at CTC, downtown Isabel St., Winnipeg. No purchase needed there - just ask the cashier for a card.
CTC Southdale has none left but CTC Kenaston still has some.
I was told if you make a $100 purchase you can use 2 cards.

heh... a $1 item? yeah... GL finding that... considering CT's overly-inflated reg. prices.
even the $1 sale items don't come too often. (like batteries, or Kleenex)

Is it possible to buy something for $50 - get the coupon, then return the item and rebuy the item if you wanted it so that it would only cost you $40?

Milton. Congrats on the 500.
Oh yeah, I also grabbed a tent for $79.99 ($100 off) that was on the weekend sale but they still had the pricetag on the shelf. So two weekend deals for me, I'm feeling all RFD now.
