OMG! Thanks OP, this was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I just bought 2 helmetcams that can write to SD but they have a max card size of 1GB. Couldn't have been more opportune.
BTW, the cams I got are these
http://www.wolfcamera.com/product/546970039.htm
Which I'm mounting to my racing karts. THis is a sample of the video from our first test session.

I got this 2GB card from Canada Computers (http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=007538&cid=990.218) for $60 a couple of weeks ago (it's now a little cheaper at $57!) to use in my DS Lite. I'd say it's better than the PNY cards as it's highspeed, which is ideal for the DS Lite and high megapixel cameras.

No, I got it from Wolf. It was great service actually because they use the borderfree service (www.borderfree.ca) from Canada post. The shipping for 3 of them came to $30 CDN. I think with shipping and taxes, it worked out to around $115 CDN per cam...which is a total deal IMHO.

In case anyone thought PNY is a no-brand, it's not. It's directly manufactured by Toshiba.

Just last week FS had a 1GB Kingston for $40 - 20MIR. I PM BB at $30, then will send in the $20 rebate for a $10 1 GB SD! W00t!
Thats not enough though, I'm about to pick up a 2GB Transcend from TigerDirect:
2GB 150x SD $63 (http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2315931&sku=T555-1002)
for $63. If you're paying shipping anyway, and I read good reviews about the Transcend with the Canon S3. Too bad the PNY 2GB at tigerdirect doesn't have a speed qualification, but if this is any indication:
CF speed comparison (http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/multi_page.asp?cid=6007-8200)
Than the Transcend 150x is pretty fast. I realise the above chart is for CF memory, and using a DSLR to benchmark the cards, but actually camera write/read speeds are all that matters. Who cares if the card reader transfers quickly if the camera can't keep up to writing the movie data to disk. The chart at least gives an idea of how much the speed varies between brands of memory, written by a camera.

I remember paying $95 (on sale) at Futureshop for a 128mb SD Card, a steal at the time. The clerk himself was so impressed with the price he called his buddies to get in on the action. How times have changed.

MemoryExpress here in Edmonton has the OCZ 150x 1GB for $40, and the 2GB for $70, but the reviewers at ncix seem to have a low opinion of the OCZ SD cards, and the OCZ rebates. I wonder if the OCZ cards are really that bad.

That's after the $8 rebate you mail in.
I ordered on on OCZ SD cards on Monday at around noon and got it today (Wednesday) at 11:30 am. Extremely fast shipping. I was impressed!
The OCZ is high speed.

Just got mine 2x1GB today picked up from store.
Tested out with my card reader.
It is actually quite impressing. It's even faster reading than my OCZ 1GB 133X SD bought from NCIX. I got about 11MB/s on reading and 5MB/s for writing while the OCZ got 10.5MB/s on reading and 7MB/s for writing.
But I am pretty happy with that result because 11MB/s is about 66X already.
It's back in stock on line now. So go get them!!

I bought the OCZ 1GB SD card from NCIX as a present for my niece who just had a baby boy 3 months ago.
I think she will really like it as she only had about 32 MB internal storage on her camera and could only hold about 30 mid-quality pictures on it.
Now I think she'll be able to store at least 150-200 high quality pictures on the SD card.

To get the 133x on a 133x rated card, you have to have a good enough card reader to be able to handle the 133x speed. Like I have 3 card readers which give out 3MB/s, 7MB/s, and 10.5MB/s for my 133X card.
Also, I think most of the devices like PDA, MP3s are very limited on high speed support of SD card, so 66X is more than enough.
As I mentioned in previous post, the PNY cards' speed is limited by my card reader again. So I cannot tell you what is the exact maximum speed.
But as I said, it's definitely 66X+

Toshiba has been quietly undercutting the US, SD card market for years hawking their wares under the brands of PNY and Dane-Elec among others. Now, they've stepped out from behind the curtain with their new, self-branded, 4GB SDHC (SD 2.0) cards which will initially feature a minimum write speed of 4MB/s (class 4) with the promise of 32GB cards in the coming years
Source: Engadget (http://www.engadget.com/2006/06/29/toshibas-4gb-sdhc-card-announced/)
In Asia, they directly stamp their Toshiba brand on the cards. I have a 2G and it works flawlessly. Not the fastest, but definitely the cheapest you can find, seems to be really reliable according to user reviews as well.

not to dig up an old thread.... :D but Memoryexpress in Edmonton and Calgary now have the 4gb OCZ SD card for $119 as seen here - Link (http://www.memoryexpress.com/index.php?PageTag=&page=file&memx_menu=EmbedProductDetail.php&DisplayProductID=8598&SID=)
Could be a good sign that other retailers will have them soon too :)
