Best car insurance company to use if 1 previous accident

Hey guys

I've had 1 accident before at fault, 2 years ago.

What auto insurance company would u recommend?
I pay 3500 or so a year now, 2 years after that happened. (otherwise had a clean record)

Phone Chieftain and Belair direct and they said I would be paying a lot and so I should wait a few years until my record goes clean.
