Just a tip, be weary of odd requests. I got my acct shut down after receiving requests from PMs. Could be a lurker from Carfax here.

Carfax is totally useless. I signed up for 1 month before, and started giving them away here for free too. I did a test on Carfax by using a list of cars on the APA website from an investigation they did on bad car dealerships. Not a single one had any warnings on Carfax!

totally agree....wish i found this out sooner...but i guess there's always the possibility that carfax catches something with the car u're interested in.
