Trying to install the 8000K HID kit today, pluged all wires and when trying to put the bulbs on, the bulbs is just yellow/orange, similar as stock bulbs, probably a bit brighter, but that's all. I expecting something blue or white at least. The only thing I didnt plug in is the 2 gold metal (bottom left) which connect to the battery, but it should be optional to put it, only for old cars that has used battery (my battery is new)
*Yes, I removed the yellow plastic protector already.
Here is the wires I pluged....did I do anything wrong??

Obvious question from a newb: Is it legal to put in aftermarket HIDs?

Illegal, only depends if the cops pull you or not...
So far, didnt hear anyone got pulled over because of the HID...
Aslong as you didnt do anything stupid to draw their attention. EX. loud music, rev engine...
It's illegal to put blue/transparent plate cover on your plate too, but everyone has one.

I know, yellow is like 3000k.
but even on the wires, the stickers wrote blue...
I sent a message to the seller, but meanwhile just wondering if i missed anything..
