I am considering between used car and new car these days, and i understand it is troublesome for me who has little knowledge about used car to choose a good used car. So here is the information i collect for the used car, all of them are the price from the red book because i bought the membership. Hope it is useful to you.
BTW, I paid 70$ for the 5 new car quotes service, i have three left, if you wanna know new vehicle invoice price, i would consider sell it at 15$/single quuote. The quote includes everything you need to know, the invoice price, the dealer who offers the best price, the accessories price...
The following is the used car retail price/whole sale price i knew, hope it is helpful if u consider an used car
2002 ACURA 1.7EL automatically 4 door Touring
mileage around 64k--72k
Red book price: 12000-13000
Mileage deduction for price
In general, 20k-25k km/year is reasonable, a charge of 10-12cents /km for average past the reasonable km.
If timing belt is changed, should knock off another $500-600
2002 Honda CIVIC LX-G Include power steering , automatically transmission
80,000 km, low 98000, high 11300
60,000km, low 10650, high 11750
100,000km low 8939, high 10439
