It'll probably depend on how long you plan on keeping the car and whether you're willing to front the kind of money they're asking for....personally i said no to it. if the car's gonna be a lemon hopefully it'll be a lemon when it's covered by the regular warranty...

When it comes to extended warranty you have to read the fine print - look at what is covered and what is not covered and the deductible.

Honda comes with 3yr/60k basic/emission and 5yr/100k powertrain. So your extended warranty would be yr 4 and 5 on the parts that is not covered by powertrain. These includes convinence accessories like A/C, power windows/locks etc and emission systems. Weight between how likely these components will fail and how much is the warranty.

Also dealers' mark up on these warranty is hefty, try bargain down if you really think you want it.
