Male/Female ratio in Goodlife classes

My gf just joined Goodlife and she wants me to take some classes with her. Does anyone know how many males are in those classes? (Bodypump, Bodycombat, Bodyflow, etc.) It's just that I'll feel more comfortable in those classes if I'm not the only male in the room.

I've only done one class and was about 80%+ girls.. only a few guys. I just grabbed a spot near the back so I didn't make a fool of myself :|

All gyms are like that... well for the classes anyways, especially the step or bodypump type classes...

This thread eminds me of that music video. It's a popular house song. Forgot the name of the song, but it's a video of a guy in an all female aerobics class from the 80s and all the chicks are superhot, wearing next to nothing.

I find the classes usually attract the women. Whereas the gym itself has more men than women.

Yup... pretty much...

In the weights area it's like 100% guys.. you'll sometimes see the odd female there though

In the classes, it's like 80% girls with a few guys..

And on the cardio machines i'd say it's about 60-70% females..

That said, you shouldn't really care or feel uncomfortable doing any of those. Everyone's there to work out anyways, nothing to be embarassed about :)

thing i noticed about Goodlife is they have about 30 facilities nationwide.

But only about a dozen of them are coed and the rest are women-only thanks to a lease/real estate deal struck with Loblaws/Superstore.
