I received mine less then 2 weeks after I filed, and that was on April 30.

I find when you mail your tax return by mail, you have to wait a while longer for your refund, although June is really getting on. I filed online for the first time last year and got my refund within 2 weeks. This year, I filed really late...last friday to be exact, so I am hoping I get my refund soon.

I mailed mine out the last week of February, and it took just about 1 month for me to get my refund.

I've since signed up for Direct Deposit.

To access the services under the CRA's My Account for the first time, you will be asked to register for a Government of Canada epass.

Just an FYI...the due date is for people who OWE money. Those people who OWE money and file after the due date can be penalized. If you expect to get a refund, you have several years to file a return...but if the feds send a letter to you asking you to file, then you have 30 days.

Go to the Irs web site. ask where is my return.
Put in the information that they ask.
Mine said it was delaide and to call them. they are open late so I did.
And i'm glad i did. They had made a mistake on my paperwork and it was claiming that i had filed a seprerate form. we went over my return as i had my copy right there! and since i knew the answers to all the questions my check was released right then.
it took 4 weaks to get my check. But at least it came

Wow, it takes people two weeks to a month to receive tax refunds, even when they Netfile?
I filed mine 10 days before the deadline, and the refund amount is already in my bank account after 4 business days. I guess I got lucky...

My parents filed their on the 30th of April electronically and still haven't received their refunds either. We called the CRA and they have confirmed receipt but are still processing them. So yeah I would say there is some sort of delay.

If you owe, you must file your taxes before midnight on April 30th. If the government owes you money then I believe you can in fact file a bit later. How much later is a good question.

I did it online and got the money direct deposited in 3-4 days.

My husband filed on line on the due date and we got a refund within 2 weeks by mail.
