So yes, tickets will be on sale Jul 8 at 10 AM! i plan to camp the computer on that day to order online. i need to know the following though: seeing that this is a PPV, would prices be more expensive? what seat can you get at a budget of $100? also, what is the maximum number of tickets i can purchase at a time? Thanks in advance all :)

if i manage to grab tickets I WILL BRING AN RFD SIGN!!!!!!!

When Smackdown came to London, ON, I think I paid about $50/ticket for 2nd row (on the minute box offices opened for these tickets). The person who sat in front of me told me she bought her ticket the day of the event for $100 because there was a last-minute cancellation.

So for a PPV event, I'm sure $100 will get you within the first 5 rows.

Oh, and if your seat is on the same side where the cameras are located, the guards will take away your sign.

I found out that the majority of the seats in front of me were tickets given away by a radio show. You should be able to snag some close seats if you hover over your computer when they start to sell tickets.

Usually, there is a limit of around 10 tickets per person. You'll have to double check with Ticketmaster's website for any restrictions on how much you can buy at one time.

Thanks for the help! Too bad it's not listed on ticketmaster.ca yet

You sure about that? I have a feeling it'd sell out 3 minutes like the Radiohead shows.

Nope this will not sell out fast if at all.Smackdown ppv do not draw well no matter where they are. With that said there is wm that has sold out fast no other ppv has sold out in quick order. This one will be no different it is going to be a very weak card.

I suggest you dont' listen to this guy. Everything he says is BS!

I bet it will sell out rather fast, most wrestling PPV's do. The last one I went to in Toronto (WrestleMania) sold out within minutes, and it was at the skydome, which has a lot of seats available.

I'd try purchasing over the net and the phone, just to be safe.

In the real world people usually type in proper grammar in order to not look like a fool when trying to rebut an argument.

To the OP, WWE shows should sell decently, just play it safe and buy tickets at the date and time that ticketmaster posts on their website.

Relax.
I have a good paying job.
I pay more bills than I want to.
I have a life which I enjoy, and it involves time on the computer and lots of time outside away from the computer.
I definitely don't suck off anyone. Last time I checked, I wasn't gay, and I'm convinced that something like that changes overnight.

I am really not trying to attack you, but you gotta realize that you post a lot of BS and you pass them off as facts. I used to be a hardcore wrestling fan who went to numerous live shows, both PPV and non-PPV shows. They often sell out in record time.
If you post something that is not true and you try to pass it off as fact, expect to be called on it.

I stand by what I said. This PPV will sell out very fast!

I'll tell you the truth.

Tickets will go fast but they will not sell out with in minutes. They only release a limited amount of tickets. As the event draws near they will release more tickets. This is to screw up the ticket scalpers.

Platinum tickets to Wrestlemania X8 was $600. You will not be getting any ringside seats for $100. Since this isn't one of the big annual ppvs I don't think tickets will be as expensive as X8.

Was X8 the one in Toronto (can't remember and too lazy to look it up)? If so, I had pretty crappy tickets and they were worth over $100 each. So don't expect to get ringside tickets for that much.
If you want ringside, changes are you'll have to purchase from the scalpers. Those tickets will go extremely fast! You'll probably pay a hell of a lot.

alrighttttt so it's settled.. we're getting 4 side by side seats at a maximum budget of $100 each.

here's my next question
should i order through internet or by phone? i never ordered for a wrestling event before so i wouldn't know.

MadCow
Jun 6th, 2006, 09:52 PM
When you order online through Ticketmaster, you specify how many tickets you want and what price range you're looking for (or you can choose most expensive seats to see what you can get). It'll then give you a list of seats that are available side-by-side and you choose your price.

I don't know how it works by ordering on the phone, but I'm sure the rep on the other line will do the same thing on their computer.

If I were you, I would do both.
Phone in while you're ordering tickets on the net.
Go with the option that is the fastest.

Anything could happen man. TicketMaster is prepared for heavy traffic, but it's possible something could go wrong with their servers (ie FF and BB on Boxing Day).

Well obviously you're not going to order 8. If you order them online before you ever get to order over the phone, then just hang up.

Just to add to the post ^ WWE always has a pre-sale password that is "leaked" so they sell tons of tickets prior to the on-sale date. This is how the events sell out so quick. Go on the wrestling forums and get the password and buy tickets ahead of time for the best seats.
