I applied to a few universities and i got into basically almost all of them

Ryerson - administrative studies
UTM - Management
York - IT with Administrative studies
Guelph - Administrative Studies ( Not really interested )
Guelph Humber - Adminsitartive studies ( Not Really interested)
Waterloo - General Arts ( Not really interested)

Now, I know I want to go into business, someone where in administrative studies or Management, I am also very interested in cell phones etc. people are telling me to reach York It with Administrative studies but at the same time people are telling me it’s a complete garbage program. I tried asking a few people they really were no help to me, called university and went for a tour on a few and they seemed pretty useless to me.

I tried asking my parents but they just don’t know anything about education in Canada. So I am kind of confused and need some inputs from you people, will be greatly appreciated.

I picked out 3 programs so far I am interested in is the Ryerson, UTM, or York.

Edited: Seems like its going to be Ryerson, was thinking about that the whole time, but damn staying on campus is like 8Gz I can most likely afford that but its so much, can invest that money somewhere else, or might just stay at home. So far I am 70% Ryerson and 30% UTM, going to confirm with a few teachers, counselor and parents and hopefully make a decision in 2 days.

UTM has more "prestige" than Ryerson and York, IMO.

Since you're not doing Business, I think the course content will be comparable between all three. I'd go to UTM.

I hear they make it as hard as UofT but you get a Ry-High degree.

Well its not hard per-se (I think...can't compare) but the ppl here are REALLY, REALLY dumb...a little bit of thinking and they all turn pale (including me! )

I'm not sure why Guelph is on your list, and don't expect to find any lofty jobs with a General Arts degree. Stick with UofT.

if ur into IT i highly suggest Ryerson...they've got a great ITM degree lined up....i have a TONNE of friends who have graduated and found decent jobs almost immediately after graduation....if u are going to york for a NON schulich business program FORGET ABOUT IT

UTM is also good....but personally ur paying for the 'name'...ryerson is by no means easy....or hard...work hard and you'll do well in either places, but just so you know UTM will probably be a more 'stress inducing' environment from what i've heard from friends who go to u of t in general(no friends at the sauga campus however :P )
