I used to play ball with Mark Hopkins, who was listed at 7' but was actually 6'9"-6'10" or thereabouts.

My dad worked with a guy named Svend Petersen from Sandvik who was also about 7' tall...the guy had the most ridiculous wardrobe ever. Poor bastard.

Had a friend in uni who was 6'10" (I believe) and a friend of a friend who is over 7'. The 7' guy has a growth disorder though and is still growing I believe.

Friend of mine is 6'10" . Really relaxed guy too. That being said I've seen in a group altecation. He was helping out some friends that were being assualted, and all you see is him picking up people by the collar and moving them outta the way. Was rather entertaining.

I went to NBA.com, because I thought he was 7'0. But wow, you're right he's 6'11. Always thought he was 7'0. BTW, how do you personally know him.

When I was in Korea on vacation 2 years ago, I saw this guy who was at least a foot taller than me. I'm 6'1" personally, and just watching this guy come up the stairs intimidated me. He had to slouch to the side to avoid hitting his head on the billboards.

Wow 6'2"! Those guys are like, giants! Can they hear you when you speak, or does it take several minutes for the sound to reach them?

Well, I just remind myself that I'm almost 6 inches taller than my mom, and it makes me feel better.

Hey, 6'2'' seems tall to me. I mean, it is more than half a foot taller than me. It's all in perspective.

Haha yeah i know everytime i meet up with an RFD'er to make a deal they are usually in the 5 foot 6 range. How does it feel to be 6'9" you get used to it. people usually don't say hi or how's it going when they meet you it's wow man you're tall - how tall are you. It used to bug me more when i was younger but now i don't noticed people looking even though i get stared at often. With girls it's been hit or miss. I bounced in nightclubs for years when i was younger(even 3 or 4 years in strip clubs) so i always met alot of women and usually i would find some that were attracted to tall guys (or like dancers who enjoyed the attention of walking beside me-they like being stared at). I can honestly say i really never had to ask a girl out they usually approached me  I've been married now 4 years(and i think my wife is hot) but i still like going out and getting a smile. Tips on being taller- don't slouch, i've studied kung fu for over ten years so hours spent in a horse stance have improved my posture and lower back strenght, shoulders back head up with make you look taller(more confident) also if your body is limber it will be more naturally erect. my father is 6'5" which helps(but my mom is only 5'4") so i never used any drugs(only beleive in natural remedies and a shot of vodka once in a while  ) i don't think any of those gh releasers work. And finally a bargain is a bargain,,,i like getting a deal(i'm not cheap as i spend alot of money but i just want to get the most for my dollar) so just cuz you're big doesn't mean you can't hunt RFD for deals!!!

I had a roommate who was on the Canadian National Volleyball team, he was one of the shorter players at only 6'5".

BTW, this thread demonstrates the dismal failure of the government's attempt to convert solely to the metric system in Canada.
