you wont be going anywhere in 3dmark with that celery....

even so you would want an x1900 or something if u REALLY want high 3dmarks in 05/06...the rest of the system doesn't really matter.

to use windows and programs ....if they are not graphically intensive or number crunching..i'd go with crucial ddr value ram....2x512mb of the rendition series. aout $45 a stick.

I say Quantity over quality..

Mind you, still buy name brand, but I don't think theres honestly any reason to get super expensive name brand RAM unless you are going to overclock.

In personal experience, Windows XP does not like more than 2gb of RAM...so get 2x 1gb sticks of the same brand (Kingston, Buffalo or Crucial value, OCZ value) for now. Combine that with your video card and you have a decent system. Save for the Celeron D.. its gonna bottleneck. If you want a real system, go for a Pentium4, or if its out of your price range, make the switch to AMD like any decent gamer ;)

I'm going to go with CodecX81 here; 2GB of slower ram is better than 1GB of fast ram.

Unfortunately your system seems pretty old; and there's not much that you can do to get a really high 3dmark, especially if you're still using AGP. I don't think any of the high-end cards use that anymore.
