When will rogers let us use the home phone modem for the internet?

When the service was installed I asked the guy about using the phone modem for the net and he said they are still testing. I would just like to get rid the extra
cable splitter that I have to use.

The guy I talked to said they might but that's not 100% sure. That was last year as well. So don't hold your breath.
