I'm in the market for a 6 megapixel digital camera with a 3 inch LCD display. Ii'm currently looking at either the Canon SD630 or the Nikon Coolpix S6.

Which one is better? I like the wireless capability of the Nikon, but I think the Canon one gives better picture quality. Some input would be great. What else can I consider that are like these two cameras?

I basically want something small, thin, with 3 inch lcd, can take very nice quality pictures indoor or outdoor, day or night. I also don't like blurry pics, so want a camera with image stablization.

I'm looking for a digital camera with 5.0mp atleast and a 3 inch LCD. Preferrably something under $400 if possible.

What are my options? What should you be looking for when looking for a good digital camera? I would like to be able to take night shots, and some video as well.

I've had a Canon S230 for the past while, it's discontinued but the new models seem very nice (and much smaller!)

The Canon SD630 seems to be exactly what you want, but I don't know of anywhere that has it under $400

Which one is better?

I would also go for the Canon after owning an S50 and an SD 400. The SD series as a whole is quite amazing packing large features into its small size, and both always take VERY good pictures.

SD630 does not have Image Stabilzation. Not sure any 3" LCD compact camera's do.....yet.

That being said, I would still go for Canon.

The Canon SD700 IS has image stabilization, but with a 2.5" screen. Why do you want the 3" screen. THe 2.5" is enough plus you get an optical viewfinder.

I'd go with Canon for slim point & shoot cameras. Nikon does not seem to make highly regarded slim P&S cameras.
