After compare with Jetsgo and Tango, I think the Tango is somewhat cheaper than Jetsgo. Also Canjet has good deal on Atlantic flights.

Not in my case. I checked the price for the same round trip between Vancouver and Toronto, on the June 27th weekend. Jetsgo had total of over $350 including tax, just checked tango, with tax, it was well over $500....what a RIP OFF?!!
I don't remember paying anything over $400 at any time when I travelled to Vancouver and back. So where is the deal again?

There is this discussion that the sale was launched as a misunderstanding / mistake. Have a look.

i think i just missed sth. i plan to travel in august.
when i checked the flytango the day before yesterday, they still
have the 118, van-tor fare for august. now it is gone. they set
a narrower eligible date range now. i should have booked it.
i think air canada did make a mistake.

Typical air canada scum. I mean, they are going bankrupt and they are selling tickets at loss just to destabilize their competitors. I will not miss Aircanada. Hopefully this will convince the government not to bail these scumbags out

Air Canada DID make a mistake... the computer programmer loaded the special fare without any date restriction initially. So the 50% discount was available even during holiday travel.
A lot of people took advantage of it (thanks to another forum www.flyertalk.com, in the "Air Canada" group) so they fixed it very quickly.
The special fare is supposed to be for summer only, as advertised. If you were able to book it a few days ago, you got lucky.
It is not "typical scam" like the above poster pointed out. It was a computer price error that some people were quick enough to take advantage of.
Better luck next time...

I've had nothing but poor service with Air Canada everytime I travel with them. Now I always leave them as a last option :|

When I saw "Jetsgo", I wonder if RFD has a "back to future" button somewhere to bring dead back to life.
